​Shakera Lewis is a passionate domestic violence advocate, entrepreneur, and community leader dedicated to empowering survivors and raising awareness. As the founder of Because of Nicole and Tajmiah Urban Awareness and Wellness Foundation, she honors the memories of her sister, Nicole, and niece, Tajmiah, by providing education, advocacy, and holistic healing resources for survivors. With over 20 years of advocacy experience, Shakera combines her mission with her businesses, including KerazCreationzAmazinHandzLLC, which features custom clothing lines, event planning, cleaning services, and handcrafted jewelry. Through her annual all-white fashion shows, awareness plays, and empowerment events, she uplifts survivors, helping them rediscover their beauty and strength. Her initiative also supports children by addressing bullying prevention and entrepreneurship education. Shakera is a sought-after guest speaker, using her voice to inspire change and break the silence surrounding domestic violence.
